Who is your Intuition and do you trust it? by Amir Zoghi
Why is it that when we feel within your hearts to follow a certain feeling to a path, we need to justify our feelings by going to our heads?
Why is then when we go to our heads that we tend to talk ourselves out of what we felt to do? And to make our selves feel better for the choice we made by giving up on what felt right in our hearts we tell a story about how we had no other choice. As if to say that we were the victim of no choice.
The victim story is only your justification of why you didn’t follow what felt complete in your heart. The victim story states that in the circumstance you were given, you had no other choice. Oh, but yes you did. You had a choice and will always have a choice; the truth of the matter is that you chose not to see your choice from your heart as a real choice because you were too afraid to make a choice that may have not been a logical one.
Your intuition is the part of you that speaks to you in feelings; we generally refer to this as our heart or rights brain thinking. It does not speak with logic, only with meaning. On the flip side we have a part of us that speaks to us in language or numbers and this is the part of us that we refer to as our heads or left brain thinking. Our head makes decisions that are practical to what we have come to understand as right or wrong and logical.
Both are important parts of our existence as human beings, however most people only determine their reality only through their heads. Yes, I know there a lot of you thinking to yourself that you determine your reality through your hearts and I wouldn’t argue with that. Know this though; there is a great difference between becoming aware of your intuition and acting from your intuition. You see, most people become conscious enough to become aware of their intuition but it takes a real special being to always act on their intuition without needing to logically justify the act. Most people I come across have become conscious of their intuition but when it come to acting on what they feel, they fall short because they think they first need to get permission from their head. So their head becomes their master and their heart becomes its captive.
There is nothing right or wrong with that, there are many people experiencing their lives that way. What’s important for you to realise however, is for as long as your head is the master you will always have a feeling of having something missing in your life or a constant feeling of not arriving at your destination. You must give up control and allow your heart to become the master and this will allow your head to become its tools. That is when you will feel complete and fulfilled.
There are two steps to freeing your heart from being the captive to being the master. First, you need to become aware of the voice of your heart. This voice speaks to you in feelings of love, of comfort but not of struggle. Second you have to act on what it is that you feel. Let me distinguish the difference between a voice of your heart which is what I call your feelings and a voice of your head which is what I call your emotions. An emotion is a positive or negative body experience that is a reaction from the thinking or perception you have in your head. A feeling on the other hand is the voice of your heart and it speaks to you with certainty. It has no agenda, attachment or a logical justification (your story) to what is felt.
It is only when you feel the voice of your heart (intuition) and act on what you feel where you can become aware of the knowing (who) of the voice and the power you have when you become one with it.
We as human being have two sides to us, our human side and our Being side. Our human side is quite often fear driven as it thinks it lacks and it is unsafe. When we only understand to know who we are as our human side we limit our selves to only our human senses. However when we awaken to our Being then we become aware of our six sense (our intuition). We then will come to realise that it is our Being that is who we are and it is our human side that is what we experience our selves through. In other words, you are a spiritual Being of oneness experiencing yourself through your tools (your human senses) as a separate unique individual.
Our Being does not lack, fear or judge. It only speaks the language of love and only those who “feel” more than they “think” are able to hear this voice as their intuition. Those that then act on what they feel are those that are the “One”, one with their Being. They will be experiencing completeness within themselves and fulfilment within their lives. SSSHHHH, quieten your thoughts, let go and surrender to this moment and become aware of that voice that speaks to you in feelings. Become completely open to all that you feel and then ACT on it now, for what you feel is only for this moment. Don’t wait for another moment.
How wonderful would it be, if you had your questions answered from within? In-tuition is the tuition that you receive from within. Do not seek for your questions that require a meaningful answer from the world outside of you. As those answers will only be accompanied with another question. Realise your answer from within, from your in-tuition and you will come to have no more questions. Welcome to the land of freedom, where not only will you have the freedom of choice but the freedom of knowing.
With Love,
